Positively broken

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of this word…? Some will be sitting here reading this and rolling their eyes – because just the word positivity brings negativity.  Isn’t that strange, that something positive can attract something negative – people do say complete opposites attract right? Wrong! I am not judging you if you’re sitting here rolling your eyes at my words, because I use to be just like you! Without a doubt just the word alone would swirl up feelings of anger, bitterness, resentment for people who were – well so happy all the time.  That was until I changed my mindset.

Now, when I hear the word positivity all the positive things come flooding into my mind – happy, content, comfortable, optimistic, encouraging – I can go on, and on, and on.  All of these words are synonymous with the true meaning  of positivity, not the feelings I use to ‘push down’ in frustration.

We need to transform our minds, thoughts and emotions

We need to start looking forwards not backwards! Forget the past, its gone, today is the present and tomorrow is the future – lets use it!

Backwards to forwards

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
